Nina (Nusaybah) Alexia Brazzo

Nina (Nusaybah) Alexia Brazzo was awarded a degree in Photography at Southampton Solent university and Academia di Belle Arti di Venezia. She has been a professional freelance photographer since 2003 organising high profile photo-shoots to capturing “slums and favelas” around the world.

Nina is passionate about spreading awareness and understanding about how people live around the world to awaken consciousness to an inter-dependant society. She uses photography and the arts as a tool for promoting global understanding. Through her vast travelling experience she surpasses boundaries creating trusting, open relationships and memorable adventures with her highly adaptable, personable and flexible character.

Since 2009 Nina has developed her arts management skills through qualifying in Arts Management at Birkbeck and managing events, workshops, courses and festivals in the professional arena. Nina is interested in directing projects that engage with multi-disciplinary artists, scholars and great thinkers to encourage creative exploration and the spirit of enquiry on issues surrounding the environment and well-being of the whole of society.

Nina aims to nourish mind, body and spirit, therefore she loves to practice various sports such as Pencak Silat, scuba-diving, bikram Yoga, running and rock-climbing. She currently supports the media department at the Alamiyah Institute with her skills as well as co-ordinating various events.
